Someone got into the deep divide Trail North Carolina?
This March, my friend and I are going to Ashville NC, and want to do Hiking. I always wanted to climb Mt. Mitchell, but realized in the roadmap, there were several peaks. This road is hard? Ive Mt Washington is one of the terrain, Im not worry me, is my girlfriend. She has experience, but might be too much for her. Comments?
I pack the item several years ago in late March. It was beautiful and very worth it. In March, you should not many. We were on a weekday and saw not a single person for a couple of guys do maintenance in the buildings. As for your girlfriend you can go hiking … It really depends on the level of fitness. When I went to pack up beyond spruce Carolina in Deep Gap, camped there, he traveled in the summit of Mount Mitchell, and then continued for several kilometers. While I found the trek to Deep Gap difficult, I do not I remember walking from summit to summit has been particularly difficult. However, I have only one journey on the track without having to go back. But you can adjust the duration of the walk to meet the needs of his girlfriend. I'd be more worried about the wet spring weather ruin your walk. During this trip I was absent for three weeks and it rained for two (including the day he visited the Mount Mitchell). There was some ice and snow on the track, when he traveled to Mount Mitchell and the type of maintenance said there was a lot of snow up there, just a few days. In both cases, there are many excursions in the region, although the Mount Mitchell does not work, should be able to find one that is equally enjoyable.
