how do i layer clothes to stay warm on my upcoming hiking trip in the georgia mountains?
2 day hiking trip, in the north georgia mountains the second week in october. i need to know how to layer clothes so i can make out a checklist for all our hikers to follow so everyone will be prepared.
POLYPROPYLENE is your best friend..
it’ll wick away sweat from your body and keep you warm…. wear them under jeans and under long sleaves… make sure you get a thermamax liner socks too… you can get all this at any outdoor store….
if all else fails, wear layers… you can always take off clothes if you get too hot, but you’ll be miserable if you’re too cold….
happy hiking!!
