Is random and off the track during the night allowed the fields of the northeast section of the Appalachian Trail?
My friends and I hiking AT mass in Vermont to about 7 days. Few questions 1 – Outside the "clearly indicates that there is no camping" areas and reserves, allow us to make only a small step to camp anywhere in the impact of 500 feet off the track? or be a designated camp / Site Security. 2 – We will need a permit? (Off-Road / camping permission) 3 – I bought a very valuable point we will be trekking guide and has a small section of cards (such as 1 inch = 1 mile, 5 inches high cards in the center of each section). We're pretty sure that this will be enough to keep us on the road, since we will respect to technical assistance only. Will that enough? AKA, the path is well marked? or should we also collect maps of the region of the AT USGS, where stands. Thanks for any help!
Often walk through the Shenandoah section of the Old Testament – but never went to church for sections of Vermont. Down Here – Backcountry camping is common. does not, without leave trace camping is very necessary, but I do it all the time. Walking up the sun sets and find a flat place to launch a tent and a fire. The course this world is trapped. It's hard being in bulk – so if you stay in the OT and have some kind of map – should be ready to continue. But – someone with experience in the area may have some more details … VA is far away.
