Has anyone climbed Mt. Bierstadt in Colorado?
I’ve never been hiking before but my friend was telling me that this is the easiest of the 14ers. I would like to do this, anybody have any advice for me?
I found tthat the over all easiest 14er to hike is Mt. Evans up by leadville. yes it is the tallest. no it is not steep. yes if you plan to do it leave the day before, camp out at the campground to acclimate yourself to the elevation and start out early the next morning. it will make for a wonderful hike. oh and dont drive all the way up. thats kinda cheating like driving up pikes peak and saying you climbed a 14er. yes you summited, but you didnt really hike it.
